Day 1-2 CUSCO

The Navel of the Old World, once the greatest capital and center of the entire continent
  • Acclimatization with the local custom of mate de coca

  • Exhibition of exotic animals and their mutations

  • Visit to the shamanic market

  • Integration and relaxation with a view of the whole city

  • Coca Museum with a presentation on why it's a sacred plant

Day 3: SACRED INKA VALLEY
  • Cave - a portal and entrance to the mysteries of the Andes

  • K'intu Ritual, an offering to the Apus, the spirits of the mountains

  • Spectacular salt terraces known from culinary TV shows and a mini lecture on why salt comes in different colors, tastings

  • Short demonstration of wool dyeing and weaving

  • Photo session in Peruvian costumes and hats

Day 4: OLLANTAYTAMBO

The last inhabited Inca town

  • Empanadas, local grilled dumplings for breakfast, and hot chocolate/freshly brewed coffee

  • Relaxation in the old town or an exciting climb

  • Journey from the Andes to the Amazon

  • Train ride with a panoramic roof to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu

Day 5: MACHU PICCHU

Sanctuary and Observatory of MACHU PICCHU

  • Royal poncho photoshoot

  • Trek through the jungle to the top of Machu Picchu mountain (via stairs)

  • Spend 5-6 hours there, enjoying a pleasant hike among the clouds (not just the standard tourist 1-hour visit to the ruins for a selfie)

  • Evening pizza night, followed by a bonfire session with a shaman

Day 6: NATURAL HOT POOLS
  • Trek through the jungle to visit a Colombian shaman for fresh coffee and witness her art and interplanetary energy center attuned with Machu Picchu
  • Grilled piranha for dinner (other options available as well)
  • Zip Line adventure and overnight stay at a delightful jungle hacienda
  • Evening spent at the jungle-surrounded THERMAL POOLS

Day 8: URUBAMBA
  • Departure from the Amazon to the High Andes, with a stop at the Abra Malaga pass at 4343m above sea level and a drive through the reserve of endemic animals and birds, including alpacas, llamas, and sometimes rare vicuñas or condors!

  • Dinner at an ALL YOU CAN EAT restaurant to try everything (more meat dishes than veggie, with a salad bar)

  • Accommodation in the provincial capital - URUBAMBIE, a ride on the famous moto-taxi Tuk-Tuk, and a tasting of CHURROS

Day 7: AMAZON JUNGLE
  • Demonstrations of preparing Peru's flagship dish - CEVICHE, or relaxation by the pool or river slide nearby

  • Afternoon jungle trek with a local healer-guide who will lead presentations on medicinal Amazonian plants and their properties

  • Breathtaking waterfall (with the possibility of bathing) and a view of the glacier (this unique place where from 1500m/5000ft you can see the famous Salkantay glacier at 6264m/20551ft)


Day 9: RAINBOW MOUNTAINS
  • Welcoming the sunrise at an altitude of 5000m/16404ft, a peaceful hike in silence (horses available for rent) to the top of Vinicunca at 5200m/17060ft and admiring the RAINBOW MOUNTAINS and the Aushangate Glacier at 6384m/20944ft it is a full-day excursion with a picnic

  • Accommodation overlooking the former capital of the Old World

  • Dinner with a live concert and dance performances, surrounded by ancient art, ceramics, and textiles.

Day 11: TITICACA LAKE

The highest navigable lake on the planet, the second largest lake on the continent.

  • Voyage to Sun Island, the birthplace of humanity
  • Exploring the LABYRINTH and local legends
  • Boat trips between the islands on a two-story boat

  • Journey to Moon Island
  • Overnight stay on the island with views of Lake Titicaca and the snow-capped Andes in the morning
Day 10: No 1 train worldwide

Andean Explorer Train, the second highest railway on Earth

  • Enjoy luxury and breathtaking vistas as you traverse stunning Andean landscapes, La Raya, the highest elevation point at 4350m/14271ft

Day 12: LA PAZ / BOLIVIA
  • Return boat trip and journey to LA PAZ - the administrative capital of Bolivia, situated in a bowl-shaped valley, with the city sprawling across the Andes' Altiplano plateau

  • A cable car ride over the world's highest capital city

  • Witches' Market with traditional remedies and magical potions

  • Dinner with Bolivian music and art

Day 13: TIWANAKU
  • Full-day excursion to Tiwanaku, the largest ancient city on the continent, known for its stunning art, history, and mysteries (Sun Gate)

  • On the way back, a stop at the MOON VALLEY, full of formations resembling another planet!

  • Evening city tours with a guide.

  • Return on day 13 evening or 14 from LA PAZ AIRPORT or option to travel/fly to JULIACA and to LIMA and return - If necessary, WE ASSIST WITH TICKET PURCHASE

  • Option to extend stay to bolivian UYUNI SALT FLATS or peruvian CANION COLCA (minimum 4 days longer)
